Medical Credentialing Specialist - Physician Licensing

RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is looking for a Credentialing Specialist to join our team.

As a Credentialing Specialist, you will be responsible for physician state licensing initiatives, facility privileging and internal appointments and reappointments, including conducting follow-up and timely response to questions regarding pending applications.
Coordinates and completes licensing or facility privilege requests in a timely manner.
Maintain electronic files for licensure and privileging and keep the credentialing database current.
This is a full-time remote position, 8:
00am-4:
00pm, Monday through Friday.
(Licensure) Compiles documents for multiple state medical licensing board for providers.
Works closely with physicians throughout the licensing process.
Track documents and timeframes associated with licensing.
Coordinates with other departments as needed for licensure priority according to staffing needs.
Research state medical board requirements for physician providers as needed.
Runs database reports, NPDBs, etc.
as needed.
Must meet all deadlines regarding provider licensure.
(Other duties) Generates and analyzes reports from specialty database to monitor credentials of each provider.
Communicates with providers and assigned departments to gather current credentials, as needed.
Coordinates and monitors medical staff licensure applications/status changes.
Maintains Verity credentialing database Communicates with internal and external colleagues and resources.
Performs other duties as assigned Recommended Skills Credentialing Databases Imaging Radiology Medical Imaging Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
