00 PMThe Service Equipment Planner manages daily service and spare parts requests for Equipment and Assembly plant to meet Sales demand, maintains physical and systematically accurate service equipment inventory, and pursues process enhancement.
The Service Equipment Planner will monitor actual production, manage inventory replenishment, and order fulfillment process to meet customer demand Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to) Handle all service-related Sales and customer requests promptly without delay Monthly reporting to establish need for additional equipment and identify current service equipment availability across plants Participate / assist in annual capital AR planning with Sales to provide input on equipment needs for the subsequent year Generate approved ARs each year per the annual capital plan for both ISDA and DWS departments.
Issue approved APPs to Large Equipment Project Management Team Handle all spare parts requests promptly without delay Estimate costs/price and provide to sales for communication with customer Verify material numbers by researching drawings/specifications or historic project documentation, or through assistance of field service group Verify customer purchase orders for accuracy and coordinate with in-house Customer Service for processing, and follow-up with the customer when parts are shipped to ensure proper delivery, customer satisfaction, etc.
Periodic inspection of equipment and regular site visits to verify inventory Audit SAP in conjunction with inventory visits to update notes, location, and condition of equipment Assist in abandonment of assets as needed Prioritize refurbishment of desired equipment Focus on fleet maintenance and customer issues Assist Product Manager in determining obsolete products or implementation of new products Assist Product Manager in implementing process improvements Work in conjunction with Product Management and Marketing Team to generate an accurate service equipment customer facing catalog for sales utilization Update on an annual basis Proactively work with sales to return unused equipment from jobsites for use on new opportunities Work in conjunction with Product Management and Sales to evaluate and address competitive threats to service business Qualifications An associates degree (A.
A.
), or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is required (Degree in Engineering or Business is preferred) A bachelor's degree (B.

or B.
